Barbara is a small 17 seat restaurant in Chinatown, Vancouver. Owner and Chef Patrick Hennesey named his first restaurant after his mother, Barbara who taught him how to cook and encouraged his love of food from an early age. Barbara has a seasonal menu that’s soundtracked by 90’s hip-hop. The Barbara LED sign is Patrick mum’s very own handwriting which sits on top of a Sarah Delaney Mural. The other design elements were kept simple and modern to allow the space and food to do the talking.
